- Classic tales retold in our own words, and every source credited.
- True stories show their sources, and fact-checking is clearly marked.
- A person checks every story. AI is only a helper.
How we write and label our stories
- Choose a story worth tellingA life lesson, a real incident or a person whose choices still matter.
- Research reliable sourcesWe use reputable books, archives, museums and official records, and we always use more than one source.
- Write it independentlyEach story is written in our own words and structure. We never rewrite somebody else's article or book.
- Check it by handAn editor checks every name, date, place and quotation against the sources before it is published.
- Publish and keep improvingEach story gets a permanent link and a list of sources. We publish corrections openly.
- Original story
- Fiction we wrote ourselves. The characters and events are imagined.
- True story · Biography · Historical narrative
- Based on documented events, with sources listed at the end. We never invent a quotation.
- Classic retold · Fable & folk tale
- A public-domain story, retold in our own words, with its original author or tradition credited.
- Age labels
- Editorial guidance, not a guarantee. Parents know their children best.
